December 21, 2005 Lisbon Fire Department was dispatched to a reported motor vehicle crash on Townhouse Rd, aka Route 138.  First unit on arrival, Engine 154, found a two car crash, one vehicle with extensive damage after striking a tree.  Extensive extrication was performed on the van.  The other vehicle received minor damage from being sideswiped by the van and resting against a utility pole.  Altogether, 3 patients were transported to Backus, 2 BLS by Griswold Ambulance and 1 ALS by Lisbon Ambulance.
