December 30, 2006 At approximately 0835 hours, Lisbon Fire was dispatched at a motor vehicle crash on Route 12 in the area of McDonald's. Out of town medical personnel requested Life Star due to the extent of injuries. Arriving units cancelled Life Star, finding a two car head on crash, leaving one of the vehicles into a tree, and no extrication required to gain access to vehicles. One refusal was obtained and one patient transported ALS to Backus Hospital. Route 12 was shut down for a short period of time for clean up.
