November 06, 2007  At around 1006 hours, QV dispatched the Canterbury Fire Department for a structure fire at 418 Water St.  The initial tone brought a full assignment from Baltic and Scotland, Taftville Fast Team, and the Lisbon Ambulance.  Upon arrival units found the fire venting out the front picture windows of the home which was quickly knocked down with an attack line.  An aggressive interior attack was performed to get the fire under control.  A primary and secondary searched was performed and both turned up negative.  The building was vented and then extensive overhaul was performed.  Rescue 554 handled the rehab on the scene.   In a reasonably short time the call was put under control without any injuries reported.
