November 17, 2007 At about 2125 hours, the Lisbon Fire Department received a mutual aid request for Tanker 154 to the Town of Griswold for a working structure fire.  Lisbon responded along with Griswold, Jewett City, Voluntown ET-353, and the Taftville Fast Team.  First arriving units found an active attic fire in a single story wood frame home venting from the C/D side of the building.  After an aggressive interior attack the fire was quickly knocked down and the building vented.  In a short time late, Tanker 154 was released and the scene was put under control.  Picture credits to Tali Greener/Norwich Bulletin.
