February 19, 2007 At 1355 hours, Tanker 154 was requested mutual aid to the town of Canterbury for a garbage truck fire on Route 169.  Upon arrival, Tanker 154 tied into Engine 193 with 4" they had laid.  The fire and heat had spread to the middle of the load of garbage, which made it necessary for it to be dumped to extinguish the fire.  After the fire was extinguished, Tanker 154 was released.
