April 1, 2007 At 1440 hours, Lisbon Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 169 and Kimball Rd. Arriving personnel found a two car head-on, with two patients entrapped, one in each vehicle, and a total of five patients. Car 554 established command, and the Tool off of the Engine and the Combi-Tool off the Service were both put into action, performing a rapid and successful extrication on each vehicle. Mutual aid ambulances were utilized from Griswold, Baltic, Canterbury, and two paramedics from American. A total of five patients were transported and units returned after vehicles were removed from roadway.
