April 27, 2007 The Lisbon Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke in the building at 184 Newent Road.  Arriving units found light smoke coming from the "D" side of the building and entry was made.  Taftville FAST team, along with Jewett City Fire Department were started as precaution.  The cause of the smoke was found to be a malfunctioning stove.  The call was quickly put under control and mutual aid returned with thanks.
