May 5, 2007 At around 2200 hours the Lisbon Fire Department along with Jewett City, Griswold, Voluntown, and Plainfield Fire Departments, and Taftville FAST team, were dispatched to a working structure fire at 47 Fairview Ave in Jewett City.  Lisbon ET-254 was the second piece on arrival of the fully involved structure fire.  A 2 1/2 line equipped with a Blitz-Fire was put into operation on the C/D corner of the two story residential building.  Lisbon Engine 154 laid the supply line from where the drop tanks were going to be placed up to the attack trucks.  Lisbon Tanker 154 took part in the tanker shuttle, and after the fire was knocked down and the trucks put back together, units returned to quarters at about 0200 hours.
